Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello (born April 18th 1967) is an American actress, producer, and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) and Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003), The History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008 Prisoners 2013, Grown Ups 2010, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her film roles. Bello was a star in the world of television as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and with other prominent roles, such as Michelle McBride in the first season (2016) of Goliath and Jacqueline Sloane, Special Agent on NCIS between 2017 and 2021. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. [7][8] Her major was in political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting in various New York theater productions after she graduated. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. In November 2013, she wrote about having a sexual relationship with her ex-partner Clare Munn. The book she published was titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 in 2015).
